Hello, I’m Jackie, the passionate creator and founder of Otford Valley Candles.

Candles have always captivated me. As a young girl, I found the flickering flame mesmerising, and that fascination has stayed with me. After years of enjoying candles, I finally decided to try making my own.

In 2013, I enrolled in a few candle-making classes, and what started as a hobby quickly grew into something more.

Otford Valley Candles are handcrafted and hand-poured in my studio, nestled in the beautiful, leafy Otford Valley, just an hour south of Sydney.

 

We pride ourselves on using only the highest quality soy wax, fragrance oils, and cotton, lead-free wicks. Constant testing is essential as our supplies evolve to ensure the best results.

Our collection features a variety of premium fragrance oils, including some that may already be your favorites like Moroccan, Lotus, and my current picks—Shangri-La, Persian Lime & Lemongrass, and Oriental Myrrh & Musk.
